Open Days-come and visit!

IMG 8750The next undergraduate Open Days at Brasenose College will be this week - Wednesday and Thursday 29th and 30th June. The College will be open from 9am to 5pm, and there’s no need to book, just turn up if you are interested in applying to Oxford for undergraduate study.

At the Brasenose College Open Days, visitors will be given tours of the College by our army of friendly student helpers, and will be able to talk to them about undergraduate life, study and anything else they are curious about. The Schools Officer or Admissions Officer will give a general Life at Brasenose and Admissions talk (at 11am, repeated at 3pm) with the Senior Tutor, Dr Simon Smith. Subject tutors will be available at various times to talk to prospective applicants about admissions procedures, study at Oxford and other issues, either through drop in sessions, or talks.

Tori Cox, a second year Biochemistry student who will be helping during the June Open Days commented: "Open Days are just the best way to find out more about Brasenose College, and the University of Oxford generally. There's going to be so many student helpers here in College really keen to show visitors round and answer any questions. Most of the current students I know came to Open Days when they were thinking about applying and were impressed by what they saw. So please do come along and see what all the fuss about". The Brasenose Open Days coincide with the wider University Open Days, where colleges, departments, libraries, museums and other parts of the University are open and running activities.
