Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Legal Studies at Athabasca University. I held academic positions at University of Alberta, Seattle University, University of Washington, Georgetown University, University of Cape Coast, University of London, the Australian National University, and University of British Columbia.

Jurisprudence, Indigenous Politics/Law, international law, (im)migration/refugee law, social justice and ethics, and women/gender and the law.

Graduate Teaching Areas

International law, international human rights, migration, ethnicity and social policy, comparative race law.

Research Interests

Indigeneity, critical studies, public health, the rule of law, displacement/migration, feminist jurisprudence, decoloniality, women/children (reproductive) rights
