Academic Background and Previous Positions

Originally from Southern Germany, I studied German and Theology at the University of Eichstätt, came to Oxford as a graduate student to St. Edmund Hall where I specialised in the area of Medieval German Mysticism and completed my MSt in Research Methods in Modern Foreign Languages in 1998 and my Staatsexamen in Germany in 1999.

In the following years, I taught German in the contexts of Secondary School and Adult Education near Manchester.

When returning to Oxford in 2013, I started teaching Translation into German to all year groups for different colleges.

Undergraduate Teaching Areas

Mainly, I teach Translation into German to all year groups.

I also teach German Grammar classes.
